Assistant Support Worker
Digartref Cyf is a not for profit registered Charity and Company Limited by Guarantee, established in 1998 to allow for the effective delivery of services for those are homeless, at risk of becoming so or in need of support to sustain their accommodation.
1 x Assistant Support Worker – Holyhead, Anglesey.
Salary £18,463.52 (37 hours per week)
This is a Temporary Post until November 2021

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced worker for a service that provides temporary housing related support services to homeless young people aged 16 to 24, with the overall aim of supporting young people to acquire the skills necessary for independent living and assisting young people to move on to permanent accommodation within the community, working with a range of external organisations. At the core and cluster, there will be 24 hour staff cover. Staff will be required to work to a rota including; weekends, evenings and waking nights. Some shifts will require you to lone work. Ideally applicants would be expected to:
Have experience of working with vulnerable young people
Have experience in delivering person centred support services to homeless young people (16-24 years).
Be flexible/able to work unsociable hours
Have an appropriate qualification/experience in a similar role
The ability to drive and having access to a car is essential
